Ghost Rider

Debut Date: 10-09-2010
Where: New York Comic Con

I was in Philly with some friends and I bought a leather motorcycle jacket and 8 spikes. I attached the spikes to the shoulders. My friends teased me by saying things like "Ghost Rider called, he wants his jacket back". Little did I know that in 5 years I would cosplay him. I used a pair knee high boots I already owned. I went to Home Depot and got about 3 feet of chain. I then got a pair of Halloween motorcycle gloves (which I later added spikes to). Ordered a skull mask on Amazon and cut flames out of sheets of craft foam and glued them to the mask. The mask gets very hot so I later added computer fans on the inside to keep me cool.

Capt. Jack Sparrow

Debut Date: Halloween 2008
Where:My Job

From the first time I started Jack to this very day he has gone through a lot of changes for the better. This one started in high school with the old familiar fictional Internet feud of "Pirates or Ninjas". I chose Pirates, I don't exactly remember why but I stuck with it. The following year for Halloween I dressed up as a pirate and a lot people told me I looked just like Jack, which was not at all my intenetion, but I believed it would need a lot more work before it looked anything like him. Shortly after I began that process (which to this day is still not 100% complete, and I don't think it ever will be). But it does look pretty darn good if ya ask me. It has became a hobby, an obsession that will always be a part of me.

Green Goblin

Debut Date: 08-20-2011
Where: Baltimore Comic Con

He is probably my favorite Spider-Man villain. I had wanted to cosplay him for a while and then I finally decided to do it. All the purple pieces you see, except for the shirt, I hand sewn all myself. The mask is a Devil mask repainted and modded by me. The Pumpkin Bombs are Halloween decor pumpkins, I just repainted them and drew faces on them. I do have another cosplayer working on a glider for me. You can see his work at sniktshop.com.

Deathstroke

Debut Date: 02-08-2012
Where: Mega Con

Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson is a mercenary and assassin from DC comics. I wanted to have more DC costumes, so this one was perfect because it didnt require me to shave due to the mask. I bought the suit and mask online and added the straps, belts, weapons and boots. A few alterations were needed here and there. Overall it was a fun costume to put together and turned out great, and I plan on wearing it a few more times this year.

Kraven the Hunter

Debut Date: 06-18-2011
Where: Wizard World's Philadelphia Comic Con

This one was chosen because I did not want to shave my "Jack" mustache and beard, but was a lot of fun to create. I bought a used fake tan leather vest on eBay and re-sized and added fur and a mane. The lions face on the front of the vest I made myself and attached. The belt is made of zebra print felt from a craft store, and the deer antler tips I bought on eBay. The pants were purchased from Hot Topic. The boots are my normal combat boots with zebra print cuffs I made from left over zebra print felt. The spear is a plastic spear repainted. I am very proud of the work I did on the vest although one day I may remake it.

Zorg

Debut Date: 10-13-2011
Where: New York Comic Con

This narcissistic industrialist was a fun costume to put together. This was one I had planned on doing but hadn't yet decided when I was going to show it. I had heard there was going to be a "Fifth Element" cosplay group at a convention I was going to, so I started working on it and ordered some elemental pieces online. I found a gangster costume (jacket and pants) online that had pinstripes that matched the look I wanted and had a friend convert the jacket into a vest. I also ordered a bald cap with attached hair. The hard part was finding a clear plastic bowl to cut to fit on the side of my head. However, we got to the convention late and most of the group had gone already, but my friend who cosplayed Ruby Rhod stayed and waited for me.

Strider Hiryu

Debut Date: 07-30-2011
Where: Otakon

This ninja was suggested to me by a good friend and was a fairly easy costume to put together. I purchased the blue GI online, cut the sleeves off of the top, and painted on the symbol on the chest. The sash and face scarf are made out of old red t-shirts. The blue socks I got at Modell's. The sword is a modded and painted plastic Viking Sword. The shoulder straps are made out of old belts. Just because I am normally a pirate doesn't mean I can't be ninja!

Joker

Debut Date: 10-14-2011
Where: New York Comic Con

The jokester with the infamous laugh aka "Clown Prince of Crime" was kind of a last minute costume. The tux was purchased to start my Red Hood costume, which I still need to finish. When I heard some of my friends were going to be DC characters at a convention I was attending, I quickly put this costume together with pieces I already owned. The only thing I had to purchase was green hair spray.

Pavi Largo

Debut Date: 07-31-2011
Where: New York Comic Con

I Love the movie Repo: The Genetic Opera, who doesn't? A friend and I went to an Anime Convention and he went as Graverobber, and it was well received, so I decided that day that I would cosplay Pavi at the next Anime Convention I attended. The mask was made using a cheap plastic transparent Halloween mask as a mold and liquid latex, then I trimmed and painted it, and glued it to my face. The vest was an old jacket I had which I just cut the sleeves off. The shirt was an old shirt I had and one of my friends drew the pattern on it for me. The mirror was from a dollar store and I just painted the frame and handle silver.

Spider-Man Noir

Debut Date: 05-21-2011
Where: Wizard World's Big Apple Comic Con

After playing the Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions video game, I decided I Liked this character so much that I wanted to cosplay him. A friend found the vest for me which I have since modded. The pants were purchased from Hot Topic. The mask is a simple combat mask, which was later upgraded by a talented friend. The goggles were purchased on Amazon. The brown turtleneck sweater was bought at a local clothing store. The leather gloves were given to me by a friend.

Che Guevara

Debut Date: Fall 2010
Where: Goth Club in Philadelphia

This was very easy to put together. I did it mainly for my mom who adores Che. Everything used in this costume I already owned. The only purchase I made for this is a fake cigar.

Zombie Jack

Debut Date: 09-25-2010
Where: Philadelphia Zombie Prom

This one was a "No-Brainer" (joke intended). When I heard a few of my friends were going to a Zombie Prom, I quickly got together some old Jack pieces I didn't use anymore and tore them up and covered them in blood.

Alex DeLarge

Debut Date: Early 2009
Where: Goth Club in Philadelphia

A Clockwork Orange is my favorite book and one of my favorite movies, which made this costume a no-brainer. It was pretty easy to put together because I already owned everything I needed. I hope to one day wear this costume again.

Android 17

Debut Date: Halloween 2007
Where: Around My Home Town

I wanted to do something I had never done before, and I wanted to be someone from Dragon Ball Z. I searched for a character that I somewhat resembled and would be fairly easy to put together. Most of this costume was made with things I already owned. The only things I had to purchase was the Red Ribbon Army Patch for the shirt, green socks and blue Chucks.
